I want to tell you about the black hole.
A black hole is a place where gravity is so strong that nothing can escape, not even light.
It is also known as a singularity.
But you would not sing hilarity if this happened to you...
She and I went flying
to see what we could see
then there was a darkness
a cosmic mystery
she wanted to investigate
I was too late
I couldn't keep my eyes on her
as she reached the event horizon
I watched as her body was drawn into the black hole
her long hair - longer and longer - as it was pulled into infinity
her face frozen in curiosity as it stretched for miles and miles and miles
a young man once told me
that he thought
he believed a black hole is not the end
he believed a black hole is a gateway
or a portal
to another part of the galaxy
I hope he's right
